Honeywell Controls
Honeywell Controls was founded and shaped through the coming together of technical, creative people who were able to invent the famous Microswitch and the autofocus system that is used in cameras, to name just a couple of the company's many accomplishments through the years.
Today, Honeywell Controls is a leader in the global marketplace, thanks to superior leadership that has driven the company and helped it evolve into what it is today. Company History
Honeywell Controls dates all the way to back to 1885 when Albert Butz, an inventor, was able to patent the furnace alarm and regulator. In 1886, Albert founded the Butz Thermo-Electric Regulator Co. Several weeks later, he invented an ingenious yet surprisingly simple device that he named the damper flapper, which was a thermostat.
In 1893, the Consolidated Temperature Controlling Co. acquired the patents and the business and also gave it a new name: Electric Heat Regulator Co., or EHR. And in 1912, EHR was again renamed, this time to Minneapolis Heat Regulator Company, or MHR, when it was able to expand its line of products.
Mark Honeywell, a young engineer, was able to perfect the heat generator in 1904 while working for his heating and plumbing business. A couple of years later, he founded the Honeywell Heating Specialty Co. and began specialising in hot water heat generators.
The Honeywell Heating Specialty Co. and Minneapolis Heat Regulator Company merged in 1927, forming the biggest producer of the highest quality jewelled clocks available. They formed the Minneapolis-Honeywell Co., but the company's name was yet again officially changed in 1963 to Honeywell Inc.

Some of the heating and temperature control products that employees provide - and that they are most famous for - include time switches and programmers, programmable thermostats, connected thermostats, and systems that can be wireless, wired, or zoned, along with accessories.
Other heating products include a variety of thermostats, such as frost thermostats, room thermostats, thermostatic radiator valves, pipe and cylinder thermostats, fan control and limit thermostats, and wireless relay boxes.
Various valves and heating filters, as well as accessories and system spares, are also sold through Honeywell Controls. And the company even offers underfloor heating products and services to add a new way to heat people's homes and offices and stay comfortable while reducing energy bills.
